The model

Functions perform. Enterprises need coordinated execution.

Finance, operations, technology, risk and people each have priorities. The enterprise needs decision rights and accountability across those boundaries. A defined executive mandate connects the investment, the operating relationships and the work required to deliver outcomes.

Flexible mandates

The responsibility the Assessment shows is needed.

The mandate specifies what K-Invst directs, which decisions it can take and when client approval is required. Indicative windows set the scope of each mandate within the wider transformation. Scope, authority, commitment and exit or continuation are agreed for each mandate.

Establish

Capability Establishment

Discuss Capability Establishment
For
An organisation that needs a working structure to direct transformation.
When it applies
Functions and programmes move separately; decisions, dependencies and value ownership lack a coherent operating structure.
K-Invst takes on
Establish the operating model, decision rights, portfolio visibility and execution cadence. Where appropriate, establish or strengthen the Transformation Office within the client.
What it aims to change
Priorities, decision rights and execution cadence owned by named leaders inside the organisation.
Engagement shape
Follows the Assessment where its findings justify it: the Enterprise Transformation Blueprint (Design) and Enterprise Execution Framework (Realise), transferred to named internal owners.
Authority
Executive sponsorship and reserved decisions remain with the authorised client leaders.
Indicative window
6–12 weeks to establish and transfer the agreed capability.
Lead

Interim & Fractional Transformation Leadership

Discuss a leadership mandate
For
An executive sponsor who needs senior leadership for a live programme or transformation.
When it applies
The direction may already be agreed, but execution needs an accountable lead across business, technology and delivery partners.
K-Invst takes on
Lead, stabilise or recover the agreed transformation scope, connecting business priorities, operating responsibilities, technology, resources and decisions through acceptance and operational transition. After deployment, this can include executive and operational leadership of stabilisation, adoption, service follow-up and continuous improvement, with incidents and changes coordinated with their owners and supplier performance and benefits reviewed against agreed measures. Engineering, technical resolution and technical operation stay with specialists.
What it aims to change
A programme with an accountable lead, coordinated commitments, business acceptance and named owners for operation.
Engagement shape
A modality of intervention within the route, set up after the Assessment of the programme’s current condition: interim leadership for a defined period, or fractional leadership with an agreed part-time commitment.
Authority
Role, decision authority, financial accountability and escalation are explicitly assigned.
Indicative window
Interim: 3–12 months. Fractional: an initial 3-month period, with the part-time commitment agreed.
Interim and fractional
Interim: temporary leadership for a defined mandate. Fractional: leadership with an agreed part-time commitment.
Support

Executive Oversight & Capability Advisory

Discuss Executive Oversight
For
A leadership team retaining delivery ownership that needs focused executive challenge and visibility.
When it applies
Decisions are delayed, risk is difficult to judge or reported progress is disconnected from the value case.
K-Invst takes on
Review priorities, decisions, delivery assumptions and value evidence at an agreed cadence, and challenge leadership before consequential decisions are taken. Programme direction stays with your team.
What it aims to change
Consequential decisions tested against evidence before they are taken, with obstacles assigned to named owners.
Engagement shape
The Sustain stage of the route, or a modality of intervention after the Assessment: periodic oversight at a defined cadence, with escalation and review points agreed.
Authority
Client programme leadership remains accountable for execution unless another mandate is commissioned.
Indicative cadence
A review every 3 months, with the operating cadence agreed in the mandate.
